Dan was born and raised in Michigan where he graduated from Davenport University and Michigan Technological University, obtaining both business and engineering degrees. Bringing over 27 years of experience in the financial service industry, Dan joined Drake & Associates in 2024 and has helped launch the Grand Rapids, Michigan office. As a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) and a Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS®), he enjoys educating his clients about their options so they can make informed decisions.

Dan currently lives in West Michigan with his wife and two children (Ashley, 20 and Aidan, 17).  When not in the office, Dan spends his time with Westside Rattlers Baseball, serving as the Vice President of Baseball Operations, Treasurer, and an Assistant Coach on the 2024 17u team.  When not working in finance or baseball, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and kids and is also active with Safe Families for Children.
